Morning Metabolism Booster


Start your day off right by stoking your metabolism! Drinking 16 ounces of cold water as soon as you wake up in the morning can help boost your metabolism by 30%. But you don’t have to stop there, continue to hydrate and energize your body with this metabolism-booster:

Over ice Add the following ingredients in the order listed. I like to make this using a water bottle, shaken not stired – basically its just easier to mix everything together this way ; )

  • 1/2 tsp L-Glutamine Powder
    (optional: L-glutamine is one of the most plentiful amino acids found in every muscle in the body – adding this helps to replenish the supply aiding in muscle recovery!)
  • 1 – 2 shakes of Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 1/2 TBS Pure Lime Juice
  • 1 – 2 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar (add 1 to start, then you can always add more to taste!)
  • 2 tsp Organic Agave (or you can add either honey or stevia instead)
